Bad Brains Frontman HR Announces Solo Album ‘Give Thanks’

Paul “HR” Hudson, front man of the iconic punk band Bad Brains, is set to release his new solo LP “Give Thanks” on October 18th via Hardline Entertainment. Bad Brains took the DC music scene by storm and quickly became one of the most influential bands in US punk history, breaking down cultural barriers and creating emotionally charged music centred on the message of maintaining a positive mental attitude. HR latterly formed Human Rights, which has performed and recorded for more than three decades, their current incarnation has a refined yet organic energy that hasn’t been felt since their early days. HR‘s music speaks to the youth of today encouraging them to practice gratitude, to never give up on their dreams, and to live in unity.
