Brazil’s Clandestinas Reveal ‘Nenhuma A Menos’ Video

Brazil’s Clandestinas emerged in 2017 from the need to make themselves heard about gender and sexuality standards. Clandestinas exist and stand together with all women and will continue to use their music, bodies and affections to fight machismo, patriarchy, racism, homophobia and all the various forms of structural oppression. The band have released the video for Nenhuma A Menos, a track drawn from the band’s self titled 2020 full length that is available via Bandcamp as a ‘name your price’ download

The band’s self titled debut album features 13 songs that signal a path and those who follow it will, little by little, get to know the band Clandestinas better, their flags of struggle and their way of making art. The album echoes feminist concerns from an intersectional perspective, pains, abuses and denunciations for a fairer society, ways of loving outside the hetero-cis-normative standards and cries of struggle and resistance. Their journey is one is that is transformative, the steps of those who enjoy it will autonomously build their own liberating paths.
