Crossed Wires Release “Ellipsis” EP & Share “Looped” Video

Crossed Wires are a fuzzed out 90s inspired pop-punk band from Halifax, NS have just released the video for Looped that is taken from their brand new EP, Ellipsis. Anyone who experiences anxiety has at some point gotten stuck in an anxiety-fueled thought loop. Their newly released video for Looped is about that feeling, playing a scenario over and over in your head, wondering if everything’s your fault, wondering what’s real and what’s just your brain playing tricks on you. The song itself mimics that with looping riffs that bleed into one another.

“A lot has happened in the seven years since we last released an album–in the world and in our own lives–and as we’ve grown in the intervening years, both as musicians and as people, the future hasn’t gotten any more certain. Our third and latest EP, Ellipsis, rips through whole theories, scenarios, and story arcs in six songs. Oh, it sounds fun but the sardonic lyrics detail confusion, fear, and apathy for a life that often feels hard to live with all of these other things going on.”
