Dangerbird Records Signs Maritime
Maritime, the Milwaukee band that was born out of the ashes of The Promise Ring in 2003, have signed to Dangerbird Records. The band, composed of the two founding member of The Promise Ring Davey von Bohlen and Dan Didier, is preparing its new effort and will perform this Friday, April 30 at University of Wisconsin, in Madison, WI.
Recently, Maritime took part in The Onion AV Club’s “Undercover” series, where 25 bands reinterpret 25 classic indie and alternative rock songs. Their take on the Depeche Mode staple, “Enjoy the Silence;” the video can be seen below.
