David Delinquent Releases “Scared To Spend” EP
Dundee’s David Delinquent (The Delinquents / David Delinquent & The IOU’s / Football, Beer & Punk Rock Podcast) has self released a brand new EP, Scared…
Gravity And The Stars Above is Donaher‘s full length follow up to their 2017 debut, I Swear My Love Is True. Their sophomore release is expectedly moodier beginning with the self-loathing opener, Fixer Upper, and Lights Out, two manic bops detailing love lost. They intersect 2000’s emo pop punk with 90’s alternative rock on Worth The Wait, which features a duet from Damone‘s Noelle LeBlanc and Believe, the album’s closer, is the heaviest the band gets and leans into 90’s grunge-era influences. However, Donaher stick to their familiar brand of hopeful power-pop on For Your Love, Before Anyone Else, Circle Yes Or No, and a cover of The Shirelles classic, Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow.
Gravity And The Stars Above is now available via streaming platforms and Bandcamp, the album is also available on CD and for pre-order on vinyl via Wicked Joyful.
