Paper + Plastick Records‘ most secretive band, Farewell Continental, has announced plans for their full length debut. The album is currently set for a May 11, 2011 release and will be titled ¡Hey, Hey Pioneers! Up until this point the band has masked their names with Harrison Ford references, but speculation can now finally be put to rest. With reference to their stage names, Farewell Continental is:
Kari Gray as Allie Fox (vocals, keyboard), Justin Pierre as Dr. Richard Kimble (vocals, guitar),Thomas Rehbein as Rick Deckard (guitar, vocals), Jim Adolphson as Dr. Norman Spencer (bass, vocals), and Josh Mckayas Jack Ryan (drums, vocals).
The band has also revealed tour information for what has been described as their only tour for the year, as well as in promotion of the record. Tour dates can be found below.
