I, Doris have released their Christmas-ish single, Merry Menopause, via streaming platforms and Bandcamp. Womb-owners of a certain age may relate to the song’s journey through inner conflict, fall and resolution to a new reality … and how better to depict this uterine drama than with a video full of surprise dolls!

There song was inspired by someone in the audience mis-hearing the lyric “peri-menopause” as Merry Menopause. The track was written and sung by Doris, aka drummer Charlotte Burke, and the dolls in the video were lovingly styled by her daughter, Skye.
