Since 1995, Bridge Nine Records has been a home for genre-defining records. Today, the Boston label welcomes New York’s Incendiary Device to its growing roster. Founded by NYHC journeyman, documentarian, filmmaker and vocalist Drew Stone and bassist Tristan D’Graves, Incendiary Device‘s music is steeped in early hardcore and classic punk while inescapably maintaining the edge and grit of their New York roots. Heavily influenced by Minor Threat, Negative Approach, SSD and early Black Flag, Stone and D’Graves share a rich musical history having played and toured together for over a decade in New York-based bands such as Antidote, The High & The Mighty and Drew Stone Hit Squad. Rounding out the 4-piece are guitarist Shaun Brennan, a veteran of the DC music scene, and drummer Mike Flaherty who cut his teeth playing many a hardcore punk matinee with Car Bomb Parade and United Blood. Having formed in 2022, Incendiary Device will release their first full length album on Bridge Nine Records this fall.

Incendiary Device

Incendiary Device’s self-titled release will feature a dozen tracks penned by D’Graves, Stone and Brennan that capture the energy and rage of NYHC with hook-laden songwriting sensibility, separating them from their peers. Incendiary Device has toured nationally and shared the stage with bands including Biohazard, Madball, Sheer Terror and Gogol Bordello, and have a couple of shows on the horizon with more to be announced.
