Intervurt: The Fear
UK based Intervurt have released the track “The Fear” from their upcoming Mark Plati (David Bowie, Prince, The Cure) produced debut album, “Union” online here. Guitarist Mark Alberici. commented on the song saying:
“The Fear was one of the tracks we spent a lot of time on in pre-production and possibly the song we feared the most. It is a complex song with intricate arrangements and a killer chorus. This song was influenced by a break-up, and how sometimes it’s harder to give up the friendship by having to take a leap of faith. We don’t really write with other artists in mind, but once we recorded this we thought it would be great if a country singer did a version of it. It has a swing feel to it and that fits the backwards and forwards idea of the final days of a relationship.”
Intervurt’s debut album hits stores June 29th, 2010 through FOF Label Group/EMI.
