Manchester’s Lucigenic have provided a much needed female presence in the Manchester scene over the years with their powerful hypnotic sound, a sound which has drawn comparisons to everything from early The Verve and The Cranberries to The Pretenders, Siouxsie And The Banshees and Blondie through to Velvet Underground and Jefferson Airplane.
