Oakland, CA queer punk juggernauts Middle-Aged Queers have released the third single off their upcoming full length, Shout At The Hetero, the follow-up to 2020’s Too Fag For Love, which is scheduled for release later this year. The Middle-Aged Queers have also announced a run of tour dates with The Homobiles next month, with further tour dates planned throughout 2022 including appearances at Camp Punksylvania and The Fest. Shout At The Hetero is now available for pre-order via Say-10 Records and Bandcamp.

We are stoked to be joining Say-10, home to the legendary Green Jellÿ and fellow queercore bands Dog Park Dissidents and Sarchasm. Not only have we joined a terrific label, but we’ve also joined a cult! Most of the songs on this album were written in the initial lockdown period of Covid-19 and take a much darker approach than our first album; ‘Knot Circus’ is no exception. The song explores the phenomenon of catching people in their worst behavior while questioning if we, the public, are becoming a surveillance state. An interesting change of pace for a band that historically written primarily gay content.
