MTV Celebrates Green Day
The musical based on Green Day‘s multi-platinium album American Idiot will be premiered on Broadway April 20th. To celebrate, MTV decided that in April, each day would be a Green Day.
The channel will air special programming, such as the musical’s behind-the-scenes “Green Day Rocks Broadway” on April 16th at 7PM ET/PT, half an hour of making-of and interviews of the Band and the castmembers, as well as fan rehearsals and fan reactions.
Also, a lottery is organized for US residents on AmericanIdiot.mtv.com to give 300 tickets to attend a special performance on April 22nd.
