New Editorial: Rock & Roll Veterans

In my 2007 interview with Mike Ness of Social Distortion, we talked about the important of knowing the history of music – how it started, what happened and how it came to be what it is now. As he said, you need to know your roots to know who you are and to stay grounded.

In his most recent editorial, Fat Dave continues on the topic of the importance of knowing what came before you and pulls in numerous examples of bands who have taken the time to do the research and in turn crafted a lengthy and successful career with that knowledge.
