Ocean Grid Post New Video, Announce New EP

Cincinnati post hardcore outfit Ocean Grid have posted a new video online. It features their track Welterweight, taken from their upcoming EP The Influence of Monsters, due for release on October 30th. The band have said this about the track and the video:

“‘Welterweight’ encompasses everything that the EP represents, whether it’s the internal battle with the Monsters depicted in the release, or the external battle that often comes the way of many of the victims that deal with the heavy internal issues that the EP attacks head on. The figure often seen in the video is the representation of what a ‘Monster’ is according to the band, it has no recognizable trait that makes it stand out but yet it’s extremely intimidating and can create a sense of very dark and heavy fear on many different levels. This black figure will likely be consistent throughout future releases and maybe even on another level in relevance to the ‘The Influence Of Monsters’ EP.”
