Pittsburgh quartet Old Neon have dropped their latest anthem, Whatever Helps You Sleep At Night, that follows on from April’s Empty Frames. The single draws on pop-punk, Midwest emo and indie influence with driving guitars adding a depth and urgency.

“If you need another poppy Midwest emo sounding song in your life then I got some good news for you! We made one! “Whatever Helps You Sleep at Night” is a really honest track that dives into the complexities of what happens at the inevitable end of a relationship. It’s about being grateful for what you have and trying to make it work before abandoning it for something else. Musically it’s my favorite thing we’ve done so far, and it’s my favorite song to play live. Get it into your ears!” (vocalist Drew Sipos)
