Red Kate Reveal “Exit Strategy” On New Album

Exit Strategy is the third full length from Kansas City’s no-bullshit, class-conscious DIY punks Red Kate, and their first since 2016’s Unamerican Activities. Without sacrificing the band’s well-established punk rock and roll sound, the album takes departures into post punk and early industrial territories only hinted at in previous albums. Exit Strategy contains nine tracks of unreleased material written and recorded over several years, plus three tracks previously available only on 7” vinyl.

Exit Strategy‘s twelve songs were recorded over several sessions, at two different studio locations and with four different guitarists. Whilst the recording was neither quick or easy, Exit Strategy is finally available via Kansas City’s record label cooperative Black Site.
