Red Rockers To Release “It’s In Our Blood” Live Album

Red Rockers are revisiting their early punk roots with It’s in Our Blood, a previously unreleased 2023 live set recorded in front of a sold-out crowd at Tipitina’s in the band’s hometown of New Orleans. It’s in Our Blood will be available on blu-ray, red vinyl, CD, and digital formats from May 22nd via Liberation Hall, and today sees the release of the lead single, Peer Pressure. Originally active from 1979 to 1985, Red Rockers were originally inspired by the radical political songs and styles of The Clash and The Dils.

In 2023, original members John Thomas Griffith, James Singletary and Darren Hill reconvened to help promote an expanded edition reissue of Condition Red which appeared on Liberty Spike Recordings. In November of that year, the trio were joined by drummer Bryan Barberot to perform the album in its entirety at Tipitina’s. It was that show that provides the audio action for It’s in Our Blood.
