Spanish Love Songs Release New Single, Tour Dates

LA based quintet Spanish Love Songs have released their newly re-imagined version of their song Kick.

The original version of the track appeared on the 2020 album Brave Faces Everyone. This version is part of  their upcoming new album, Brave Faces Etc, which will be released on April 15th via Pure Noise Records.  The track list for this album looks very familiar as is composed of reimagined & alternative versions of the original 2020 release.

Singer Dylan Slocum describe their decision to rework the album saying:

“A lot of this album came about from working at home, and listening to a ton of ambient, loop based music. This version takes that approach and applies it to a song that was always built around a huge hook. If the original song (and album really) was based on a wall of guitars, then this is meant to be the opposite, and is our attempting at making some big without it necessarily having to be loud or aggressive. We definitely weren’t confident enough to try that the first time around, which is probably the case for a lot of the different things we tried to achieve on the reimagined. “

The album was recorded remotely in 3 different home studios in 3 time zones.  “Brave Face Etc”can be Pre-ordered now with the physical vinyl as a two disc release – side A/B are the re-imagined versions and side C/D is the original version.
