Laura Jane Grace & Catbite Release Live Operation Ivy Cover Set In Support Of L.A, Fire Relief
In the wake of the ongoing wildfires and devastation in the Los Angeles area, Catbite have shared their live collaborative set with…
Rochester, NY garage rock legends The Chesterfield Kings originally formed in the late 1970s, they mined the nuggets and pebbles of the 1960’s garage scene and were instrumental in sparking the 1980’s garage band revival, along with like minded outfits such as The Fuzztones, The Pandoras and The Cynics. The Chesterfield Kings disbanded in 2009 but returned last month with the release of the Meet You After Midnight single, their first live performances in over 15 years swiftly followed. The band has now released another new single, Electrified, via Wicked Cool Records that features a cover version of Bob Dylan‘s My Back Pages on the flip side.
“Stevie wrote this one with us… It’s about the day Dylan went electric in 1965 at the Newport Folk Festival which changed music forever. He was Electrified!” (frontman Andy Babiuk)
