The Punk Site 2019 Top 20: Billy Liar – Some Legacy

It’s that time of year again, which can only mean that it’s time for The Punk Site‘s annual Top 20, as usual the writers and photographers get their heads together, not an easy thing to do when you’re scattered across two continents and three countries, to produce a list of our favourite releases from the year that is now almost over. At number 20 is Billy Liar‘s “Some Legacy“. We wrote “there is no filler or generic love songs on Some Legacy, every track is personal and written from the heart … Some Legacy provides moments that are familiar to anyone who’s embedded in the punk scene, but crucially it never slips into the overly familiar generic punk template, there are also introspective moments that blend perfectly into the electic mix.
