The Red Stains To Bring Out ‘Freezer Jesus’ In Time For Xmas
Manchester, UK’s The Red Stains will release their new single ‘Freezer Jesus‘ on all streaming platforms on the 11th December, the band will reveal the video via YouTube on the 10th December at 7pm. ‘Freezer Jesus‘ jolts into life like one of those shopping trolleys with a wonky wheel, the song is a teasing, tongue-in-cheek punk-critique of endless consumer culture; the conveyer belt we’ve been conditioned to keep on. Driven by the bass, drums and percussion, this song builds to a blistering bite-back against shopping, how it is sold time over as the solution to boredom, the rot at the heart of an unequal, aggravated society. The Red Stains are the voices of a generation screwed over by recent political and economic chaos, yet still sold the old myth of the consumer religion.
