The Replacements Confirm Lineup for RiotFest

Back in June of this year, Paul Westerberg and Tommy Stinson of legendary Minneapolis punk band The Replacements announced they would reform to play RiotFest. Now they have confirmed the full line up for these dates with session drummer Josh Freese and guitarist Dave Mineham completing the quartet.

Freese and Stinson know each other from playing in the post-Slash/Duff era version of Guns n’ Roses, while both Freese and Mineham backed Westerberg on solo tours in the 90’s. Original drummer Chris Mars‘ participation was always in doubt, not being open to reunions in the past, so it is not surprising to see his omission here as well.
