The Venomous Pinks Release New Single & Video “Apothecary Ailment”

Arizona’s punk powerhouse, The Venomous Pink will drop its debut full length, Vita Mors, via SBÄM Records on June 3rd, ahead of the album’s release the band have released their new single and video, Apothecary Ailment, that is now available via digital platforms. Their highly-anticipated debut full-length is consumed by a deep narrative, subjects range from persevering heart-wrenching losses, to fighting sexism, to belting social change war cries, which proves once again their punk rock commentary is a force to be reckoned with. Vita Mors is more than an album, it’s an insider’s guide into The Venomous Pink‘s personal rebel journey.

“‘Apothecary Ailment’ is a track about how consuming the cycle of addiction can be. I witnessed someone close to me struggle with severe addiction. It was a matter of life or death. The lyrics are a plea for them to choose life. I’ve had my own personal battles over the years, and facing one’s demons is never easy. For the video, we escape to the beautiful landscape near the lost Dutchman park in Apache Junction, AZ. Since this is our first album, it was important for us to show the world our roots and where we grew up.” (vocalist Drea Doll)

The Venomous Pinks will be playing Montreal’s Pouzza Fest in late May alongside Propaghandi, Cloud Nothings, Belvedere, Bad Cop/Bad Cop, War On Women and many more. The Venomous Pinks will also touring alongside Dead Kennedys and Nekromantix in the US in June.
