Trail Of Lies Unleash “My Way” From Upcoming “Only The Strong” Album

Syracuse, NY bruisers Trail of Lies hit the scene in 2011 with a singular goal: “play hard and heavy music that evokes the most primal of feelings in its listeners”. 13 years, countless shows and many lineup changes later, the band is back in 2024 and relentless as ever with their upcoming album, Only The Strong, set for release on July 19th through Triple B Records. The band have now shared the latest hard hitting single, My Way, that features guest vocals from Scott Vogel (Terror / Buried Alive) and Danny Diablo (The ShotBlockers / Crown of Thornz). The song conveys its message in the ferocious style of metallic tinged hardcore that fans have come to expect from the band. Blazing fast guitar riffs and angular grooves weave in and out of punishing breakdowns that culminate in the crushing vocal features from Vogel and Diablo.

On Only The Strong, Trail Of Lies collaborated with producer Andy Nelson of Bricktop Recording in Chicago, IL living and recording in the studio for a week before sending the completed album to Brad Boatright at Audiosiege for mastering. The band already shares members with the likes of Regulate, Candy and Naysayer but has expanded their formidable lineup even further on the new album with additional features from Pat Flynn (Fiddlehead), Sebastian Paba (Regulate) and Aldo Felix (Section H8). Throughout eleven visceral songs, the band elevates their NYHC meets metallic hardcore sound to entirely new heights of aggression. Not content to rest on their laurels, the band continues to push the boundaries of heavy music, while remaining true to their roots. With the release of Only The Strong, Trail of Lies are entering a new era while carrying on the past legacy they built.
