Travis Barker Names Solo Album, Plans Single With Tom Morello & Rza

Travis Barker (Blink182/Transplants/+44) recently revealed the new of his upcoming solo album through his Twitter account. The record will be called Give The Drummer Some and will be released sometime in September.

The album is rumored to run the gambit in terms of different styles and sounds and is said to have guest appearances from the likes of the members of Blink182, Snoop Dog, Chester from Link Park and more.

The first single is called Carry It and features Tom Morello (Rage Against The Machine, Street Sweeper Social Club) and RZA (Wu-Tang Clan). They filmed a video for the single yesterday.

Barker is also working on new albums for Transpants and Blink 182.
