Video: Anna’s Anchor – Big Sky State

Anna’s Anchor has premiered a new video from their recent full length.  The video features the song “Big Sky State” from their recent album, Nautical Miles, which was released back in September via Struggle Town and Never Meant Records.  Marty Ryan explains the song:

“Big Sky State was actually the last song that was written for the album and it’s about time that I had spent in Bozeman Montana, which is where the first Anna’s Anchor EP was recorded. It’s about leaving a place and relationships behind due to borders and distance”.Comprised of recent tour footage, the video is simplistic but fitting for an artist who revels in trekking, as Ryan puts it: “Playing music for people, being able to travel and meet new friends who share the same ideas is one of the best parts of being part of the punk/greater music community. The album and this song is all about going to different, sometimes uncomfortable places and coming out the better for it, this video is the result of overcoming all this and some of the important and helpful people met along the way!”
