Weekend Recovery Reveal “Chemtrails” Video

Weekend Recovery have announced that their forthcoming third album, Esoteric, is due for release in May 2023 via Criminal Records. The lead single, Chemtrails, brings equal measures of Lori Forster‘s straight talk and contagious vocal riffs, driving beats and a hyper-fuzz wall of sound, the single confronts the way news and social media brainwashes the masses, telling us there is a certain way of doing things and how people should fit a mould:

“As a female in the music industry the number of times I have been told I should behave a certain way is too many to count… or my favourite ‘You’re good at guitar for a girl’…”

Already completing a successful 20-date headline tour this summer, Weekend Recovery will be appearing later today with The Virginmary’s at Newcastle’s St Doms and tomorrow, the 29th October, they will play two shows at Sheffield’s Sidney & Matilda in support of the release of Chemtrails. Weekend Recovery will also be seeing out the year with a Xmas Special on the 16th December at Sheffield Corporation.
