MDNA Pay Homage To The Queen Of Pop On “Poppers Don’t Preach” EP
Manchester, UK's MDNA have released the three track Poppers Don't Preach EP that features punked up versions of Madonna hits,…
With Patience‘s sound is a compounded mixture of post-hardcore and post-punk mixed with tinges of metal that is aggressive, melodic and catchy as hell. The Chicago trio features guitarist and vocalist Chris Wade (hose.got.cable), drummer Lee Diamond (Douglass Kings / Alkaloid) and bassist Lance Curran (Careful). With Patience combines their love for hardcore, post-punk and metal with decades of experience, allowing them to create their debut EP, Three of Swords, like they’ve been music together for years.
Each song features a different band member on lead vocals. Reasons continues the path of their debut single, Fitted Sheet, with Chris on lead vocals, combining post-hardcore and mathy noise and blast beats creating a new type of crossover. Lee sings the middle track Obsolete at Production, a complete change of pace with a groovier song lamenting a world of planned obsolescence. Lance sings the raging bass-driven track, FOMO, which accelerates back to cruising speed and aggression.

To celebrate the release of Three of Swords, With Patience are playing a release show on the 22nd February at Fallen Log in Chicago, IL. with good friends XYZXYZ and Nad Navillus.
