Maximum RNR

Self Titled - Self Released

Do you remember when music was actually about the music? It wasn’t about how hot the singer was. It wasn’t about how they dressed or how they danced. It wasn’t about who had the best looks and who had the most media coverage. It wasn’t about the money and the label they were on. It was actually about the music. Musicians had a passion for the music they were creating; they weren’t created distinctly for the purpose of taking over the top 40 charts. Maximum RNR is now here to bring that dedication back to the music scene.

The independent band just released their six song self-titled EP to the world. They don’t have any major label backing them up to help get the album into stores across the nation; instead they are heading across the country touring rigorously to help get their name out there.

The EP has six rock and roll songs. Good old fashion rock and roll like your parents used to listen to and like a lot of you probably still do. Guitar driven rock with strong, somewhat grungy vocals, intertwined with some amazing guitar solos.

Maximum RNR plays a style of music that used to be big. It may not be the right style to break into the major scenes with today, but the band doesn’t care. They play it for the love of music and any fan of the 80s rock and roll bands will most likely fall instantly in love with these Torontonians.
