Sheer Terror Unleash “Squat Diddler” Single
On the eve on their May 2026 European Tour, NYC's SHEER TERROR have released their new single, Squat Diddler, that…
Land, Air, Sea - Epitaph Records
Weezer drummer Pat Wilson and Rocket From The Crypt‘s Atom Willard is The Special Goodness. Land, Air, Sea is the duo’s first release. It was originally released sometime last March on NOS and is now being re-released by Epitaph Records as one of the label’s first two releases in 2004.
Personally, Land, Air, Sea is not for me. Plain and simple. Their lyrics are somewhat corny (“You know I’d like to see everybody get along with everyone, but that’s not gonna happen” – You Know I’d Like… or “I hate it when I’m not polite” – Pardon Me) and normally quite simple, while never being incredibly catchy. Their sound is watered out and just a bit too slow and simple. Sure, every once in a while we get a glimpse at what the duo can really do by showing us an amazing guitar riff or something like that, but all too often it dies out right away. It sounds somewhat similar to the emo sound that Weezercreates, but once again, I’ve never been a fan of Weezer either.
Overall, The Special Goodness isn’t that special or that good. In reality, they are more monotonous and average then special or good.
