924 Gilman Announces 40th Anniversary Benefit Weekend

924 Gilman, the volunteer-run, all-ages punk venue that has anchored The Bay Area’s punk rock community for four decades, will mark its 40th anniversary with a four-day benefit weekend running September 24th through September 27th, with proceeds supporting the nonprofit, member-run club that has operated at 924 Gilman Street since 1986. The weekend was primarily booked by Shaun (Middle-Aged Queers / The Cost), who has booked shows at Gilman on and off for 31 years and is the longest-running booker in the club’s history, with additional booking support from RNRG and House of Chaos Productions

The celebration kicks off Thursday, September 24th with a new band night spotlighting the next crop of Gilman Street bands, and closes Sunday, September 27th with a night hosted by seminal Bay Area punk label Alternative Tentacles.Tickets and full details for all four nights are available at here.
