All Waffle Trick Are ”Taking The Long Way” On New Single

Denver ska punk trio All Waffle Trick begin a new chapter with their latest single, Taking The Long Way, that delves into the struggles of finding one’s path amidst life’s uncertainties, painting a vivid picture of the internal conflicts we face daily as we navigate through the unknown. A budding guitar riff kicks things off like it’s scoring the respite of a wanderer peering out over an endless vista. That vulnerability quickly fades into a swell, followed by a thunderous crash of drums that ushers the listener into a driving, upbeat and introspective journey of self-acceptance. This anthemic track serves as a preview for their upcoming EP, Continental Breakfast, that is set to debut this spring.

“This song was fun to construct as our writing process has evolved over time, and I was going through a few life changes during the writing itself. This song centers on the journey of life and how we rarely are ever able to take the easy path, but we’ll find our way to where we want or need to be. I’m excited to share this single, and we’re all stoked on the next EP that we’re finishing up.” (guitarist & vocalist Jeff Giles)
