A Loss For Words: Tour & Jackson 5 Cover With Four Year Strong

A Loss For WordsA Loss For Words have announced a five-week tour with Transit that kicks off on May 23rd in Portland, ME and wraps in the band’s hometown of Boston, MA on July 2nd. Before hitting the road, the band will be playing a CD release show in Worcester, MA on May 14th with TransitThe Wonder Years, Lions Lions and Teamwork Challenges, and will be giving away a free 5-song CD upon entry.

The tour is in support of their upcoming cover album, Motown Classics, which will be released on May 11th through Paper + Plastick Records. The album was was recorded earlier this year in Boston at Webster Lake Studios with Chris Curran, and features A Loss For Words’ pop-punk take on classic R&B and Motown songs. AltPress are currently streaming the track  I Want You Back,” originally by The Jackson 5, which features guest vocals from Dan O’Connor and Alan Day of Four Year Strong.You can hear the song here.
