Alkaline Trio’s Derek Grant Announces Solo Album

Derek Grant, drummer for Chicago punks Alkaline Trio, has announced his debut solo record, Breakdown, will be released on January 20th 2015 via Red Scare Industries. Derek had this to say about how the record came about:

“My relationship had fallen apart and I was dealing with it in some very unhealthy ways…The upside was I started writing lyrics for the first time in nearly a decade.”
