The birthday celebrations for The Punk Rock Museum‘s first anniversary start on the 31st March with a big show in the museum’s parking lot. The event will showcase three local Vegas bands, Suburban Resistance, Sakura and Soldiers of Destruction, who join The Last Gang, Get Dead and The Vandals on the bill. Tickets for The Punk Rock Museum‘s first anniversary show can be purchased here, parking will be unavailable at the museum as the show is in the parking lot.

If you’re in Las Vegas on April 1st head down to The Punk Rock Museum, general admission to the museum will be free for this day and at 4pm you can witness the proclamation ceremony for the first official Punk Rock Day in Las Vegas where Mayor Goodman, Chairman Tic Segerblom and council members will be presenting an engraved padlock to The Punk Rock Museum. The tour guide that day will be KJ Jansen (Chixdiggit!) who will also play a couple of acoustic songs in the bar right after the ceremony with a toast to Punk Rock Day. This will be followed by DJ Jaymes Q Mayhem and DJ Atomic who will keep the party going in the Muesum’s Triple Down Bar.
