BE N!CE Release “IT’S GETTING HARDER” EP

London, UK’s BE N!CE are never afraid to say the quiet part out loud, this is evident on their fan funded sophomore EP, IT’S GETTING HARDER, that is out today. The six track EP is the band’s most confrontational, funniest, and personal body of work to date, moving from gender-affirming defiance to eco-rage, to raw, unfiltered testimony, whilst recalling the thematic absurdity of their 2025 debut EP, WHERE AM I? Their new EP features the singles GREEN BURIAL, OOPSIE and BUDDY along with three brand new tracks that push the band into rawer, more personal territory.

Opening the EP is FOR THE ATTENTION OF…, a track built almost entirely from the real, cringe-inducing, increasingly desperate emails a stranger sent to the band’s professional inbox trying to ask their singer out. It’s uncomfortable, it’s weird, and it’s very, very funny. IKNOWGIRLS is a short, sharp transgender protest song, its breakdown culminating around a chorus of real trans voices — a moment of collective defiance packed into a track that doesn’t even clear two minutes. Finally is GUESS I’LL DIE, the most exposed song BE N!CE have released: a hyper-personal, unflinching account of the singer’s experiences being let down within the British healthcare system, particularly during their time spent in teenage mental health wards.
