Better Than The Book Stream New Single

UK ska punk act Better Than The Book have posted a stream of their latest single Meteor Shower. The track will feature on Hopes and Dreams, the band’s sophomore full length which is due for release on July 19th. Better Than The Book is the brainchild of multi-instrumentalist, producer and audio engineer, Nick Standing (AKA Jabun) and he has said this about the inspiration for the single:

“It documents the struggle between self-actualization vs. self-doubt and the frustration of trying to reach your true potential, even when the world and often your own mind seem completely against you with no hope of success. If you want things to change, then you’ve got to make the change, face the problem head on, break free from the cycles of bad habits, and fight for what you want, even if it seems futile, because if that meteor is going to hit you anyway, then you might as well grab a bat and start swinging for your life!”
