Borts Share “Snow In Hell” From Upcoming Debut Album “Preach This!”

Salisbury, UK punk trio Borts have announced that their long awaited debut full length, Preach This!, will be released on the 25th November via Lockjaw Records, the band have also released the album’s lead single, Snow In Hell. Commenting on the track, the trio say: “This is a straight up power pop rock ‘n’ roll song about having fun until it’s not fun anymore. It’s like Bruce Springsteen mixed with Cheap Trick played by Superchunk. It came together pretty quickly when we were writing it and was one of the last songs finished for the album. The driving tempo draws on our collective love of Americana songwriters from the late 60s and 70s and is kinda unlike anything we’d written at that time.”

Borts formed from a longstanding friendship and a mutual love for music, films, games, and good old-fashioned hanging out. Previously cutting their teeth in well-established UK bands Your Demise and Tireless, the friends have now returned in their latest guise with a pair of EPs which will combine to make their 2022 debut album release, including tracks taken from their previously-released and imaginatively-titled four track debut, EP1.
