Despite the tragic and unexpected death of Pete Shelley last December, the planned 40th anniversary reissues by Domino of the third and, arguably, fourth Buzzcocks albums, A Different Kind Of Tension and Singles Going Steady, are proceeding as planned. The albums, available on deluxe coloured vinyl and CD, have been restored from the original tapes for the first time. Both titles feature newly curated booklets and unseen images, with Jon Savage contributing the liner notes for A Different Kind of Tension and Clinton Heylin for Singles Going Steady.
