Carsick Release “Tough Luck” EP

Salisbury, UK chaos merchants Carsick have returned in style with their new EP, Tough Luck, that is released today via Alcopop! Records. Tough Luck is a feral, funny, and ferociously honest second EP that doubles down on their signature blend of pissed-up Punk energy, Indie swagger and deadpan social commentary. Tough Luck is the band’s most direct and unfiltered work yet, a five track rampage through the existential nightmare of modern Britain, as seen from the bar stool of your local.

“It felt like the right time to be completely honest. Everyone, no matter their situation, is well aware that the world is totally fucked at the moment: socially, politically, culturally—we’re in a proper dark time. Our music’s always reflected our lived experience, and even our small, local communities are feeling the effects from the top down. Everyone’s going through it, and a lot of people are getting too comfortable being cunts, so there’s a lot of that on the EP.” (bassist Jack Hardiman)
