Andy Guttercat Takes On Spunk Volcano & The Eruption’s “Platform 3”
Coventry UKʼs Andy Guttercat (Malias / Firefly / Fridayz Angelz / The Guttercats) has released his new single, a high energy cover…
LA’s Death Lens have released their caustic new single, Not Impressed, which will appear on their highly anticipated upcoming album, No Luck, which is set for release on April 15th via Secret Friends Music Group. Not Impressed is Death Lens doing what they do best- pummeling audiences with fuzzed out SoCal style punk that hits hard enough for the moshers while being catchy enough for the pop-punk kids (and everyone in between). While the song blazes along at a breakneck pace, the band prevents it from going off the rails. There is a palpable yet authentic aggression to the track, with lyrics that speak to the bands no nonsense approach to the scene and a singular confidence in who and what they are. The upcoming thirteen track album touches on themes of social and political awareness, mental health and personal relationships and carries a realistic but positive message to fans.
“This song is extra special. We wrote this after being called ‘washed out’ and ‘burnouts’ in the Los Angeles music scene by certain promoters. We took those words and made a ‘Fuck You’ song to those who said we were nobody’s”
