Static Friction Announce Fall US Tour Dates
Boston, MA melodic punk band Static Friction will be playing a Halloween show on October 31st at Hyannis MA's Flashback…
LA based punk rockers Death Lens have released their new single and video, Abrupt, which will appear on their upcoming album, No Luck, that is set for release on April 15th via Secret Friends Music Group. The band has also shared a limited edition 7” version of Abrupt that is available exclusively through Smartpunk. The song will also be prominently featured in an episode of the MTV series Ridiculousness.
Abrupt showcases Death Lens doing what they do best, performing punchy SoCal style punk rock with a style heavily influenced by skate culture, hardcore and social awareness. More aggressive in their songwriting approach than their pop punk leaning peers, the group blends caustic riffs and catchy melodies together with explosive results. The band is proud of their working class, multi-cultural roots and showcase this with lyrics that speak to the hardships of life with an undercurrent of positivity and resilience. The official music video adds a compelling visual narrative to the track and showcases the bands singular personal style.
Death Lens will be playing a release show to celebrate the release of Abrupt on February 19th at The Constellation Room in Santa Anna, CA along with dates in LA and San Francisco before performing at Treefort Festival in Boise, ID on March 26th and 27th. They will also be supporting Together Pangea for a five day run starting March 28th.
