Deptford All Star Band Los Santos To Release Debut Album “El Corazon”

November 3rd will see the physical release of El Corazon, the debut six track album from Deptford Fun City’s punk rock band, Los Santos. Recorded at Cadiz, South London, the album is a slice of high octane, melodic punk rock that wears its influences proudly on their sleeves. Los Santos is Michael G Bayliss (vocals and bass guitar) and Richard England (guitar and vocals) who have both been members of The Saints, The Members and Alcohol. 

El Corazon also features 21st Century DIY punk stars in the shape of two members of Wonk Unit, Alex Wonk on drums and X Ray Vez on lead vocals. If that wasn’t enough El Corazon also sees more guest appearances in the shape of Kate O’ Brien (MC5), Andy Cox (The Beat) and Chris Musto (Johnny Thunders / Glen Matlock).

You can pre-order El Corazon on CD via Cadiz Music and the album is available digitally via Bandcamp. Los Santos have now been joined by drummer James Sherry (Dealing With Damage / Desperate Measures) and the band are also currently working on Dream Baby Dream, a re-working of the Suicide song, and an EP of The Saints songs in tribute to Chris Bailey and Algy Ward.
