On the eve on their May 2026 European Tour, NYC's SHEER TERROR have released their new single, Squat Diddler, that…
Written in the midst of peak paranoia, Hello MI5! is a tongue-in-cheek shoutout to internet surveillance and conspiracy theory mania from Dog Of Man. We know that they know that we know they are watching us. But which is worse: paranoia or complacency? The video for the song depicts the hunt for truth as a film noir adventure, shot on the sly at night in Brighton and at Shoreham Port. It features a mysterious femme fatale, a secret underground lab and a private detective who thinks he’s got it all figured out. But what does it mean? The DIY video packs in all the elements of a feature film, minus the bits that tell you what’s going on. The clues are all there, you just have to find them.
Dog of Man are a psychedelic punk band from Brighton who have toured in Europe and brought their energetic live show to festivals in the UK, Croatia and the Netherlands. They’ve been described as “dream headliners for an end-of-the-world party” and have been known to wear tinfoil hats on stage. Hello MI5! will be released on Friday 29th April at a launch party at the Hope & Ruin in Brighton with support from Fukushima Dolphin, Ballpoint Ken and Buffo’s Wake. The Hello MI5! film noir video will be shown at the gig on VHS through a collection of vintage televisions.
