2024 marks the 20th Anniversary of Sister 9 Recordings, and as part of their celebrations the label are releasing a special limited edition 4 CD Set, The Products Of Our Own Demands And Commands, which tells the story of Rhys Bloodjoy / Reece Adamo‘s first band, Dolium. In their early days Dolium caused quite a buzz on the UK underground music scene; first in 1999/2000 with their sonic assault on the city of Sheffield, and then some years later, when their 2004 debut single quickly caught the attention of BBC radio legend, John Peel. The rest, as they say, is history. The band decided to go on an indefinite hiatus in 2010, only to reform in 2024 with the original line-up to celebrate both the box set release and the anniversary of their label. A release day show is set for the 22nd November at Sheffield’s The Hallamshire Hotel in Sheffield, that will be their first live appearance since reforming.

Take the journey and discover the roots of Sister 9 Recordings with this stunning collection, which includes Dolium‘s entire discography plus many unheard recordings, including their long-lost, unreleased third album, Brother Transistor. The lead single, Get Off On My Machine, is out now with a second single, Transmission Impossible, and a four track video EP, The Brother Transistor Video Series, that features both singles and two extra tracks from the third album, that are both set for a November 8th release. The Products Of Our Own Demands And Commands box set is presented in a striking full colour 32-page booklet, featuring art and photography, as well as extensive sleeve notes by the band and their management.
