Dayglo Abortions drummer, Blind Marc, has announces that his self titled solo album, Isolated Earthlings, will be released on New Years Day and has now revealed an exclusive stream of Crib via The Punk Site, the latest track to be shared from the album. Isolated Earthlings is a comedy album with some punk rock ’n roll songs to filling in the blanks.
The album was recorded, in Edmonton by Rob Lawless, who also recorded the latest Dayglo Abortions album Hate Speech. Blind Marc plays the drums, bass and provides the vocals with guitar from Edmonton veteran Mike Caton (Zero Tolerance / The Boozehounds / Broken Nose), Neil Calliou (Putrefaction), Mike Jak (Dayglo Abortions) and Blind Marc‘s nephew, Nolan Branch, chips in with with Banjo and few guitar solos.
“I wrote these lyrics about being in isolation lockdown and being bored so pulling out my braille cards and crib bored and killing some time. It kinda reminds me of a mixture of Sepultura and the Ramones. Heavy crunchy intro with a rock ‘n’ roll Ramones verse. I’ve always been partial to the thrash metal along side with the rock ‘n’ roll. Well I hope you like it.”
