Former Supersuckers Guitarist Ron ‘Rontrose’ Heathman RIP

The Punk Site is saddened to learn of the death of founder member and guitarist of the Supersuckers Ron “Rontrose” Heathman, he was a member of the bands original line up and was originally with the band between 1988 and 1995, before returning in 1997 and then remaining with the band until 2009. Heathman played on seven of the band’s best known albums including their debut full length “The Smoke Of Hell” and what are widely regarded as the Supersuckers classic albums; “The Evil Powers Of Rock ’N’ Roll“, “Motherfuckers Be Trippin’“, “Paid” and “Get It Together“. His passing was confirmed by the Supersuckers on their Facebook page with this simple message “Rest in peace brother Ron. We’ll post more once we process this”.
