Good Charlotte Dissect New Album Track by Track
Coinciding with the release of Good Charlotte‘s latest album, Cardiology, Alt Press recently sat down with Benji Madden to discuss the album on a track by track basis. Of note, Madden explains the inspiration behind the band’s first single, “Like It’s Her Birthday,” in which he admits that it’s not to be taken too seriously:
“Every Good Charlotte album has a couple of tracks on it that are just for fun. This is that song onCardiology. It has a good mix of the old-school sound from our self-titled record from 2000, and the sound we explored on Good Morning Revival in 2007. We knew this one would be fun to play live.”
