Gucci Chain Letter Drop Debut EP

Canada’s Gucci Chain Letter are a new band formed by longtime veterans of the Vancouver and Edmonton punk and hardcore scenes, the band have now released their debut three-song EP through streaming platforms and Bandcamp. While the band itself is newly formed, its members bring decades of experience from influential underground acts including Daggermouth, Youth Decay, This Is A Standoff, King Thief, Drive By Punch, Precursor, Counterfeit Jeans, and more. Drawing on that shared history, Gucci Chain Letter delivers songs that are both driving and melodic, rooted in punk and hardcore but never confined by the limits of a single genre.

Fans of Militarie Gun, Fiddlehead, and Small Brown Bike will find plenty to latch onto in the band’s sound, emotionally charged songwriting paired with punchy riffs, dynamic rhythms, and a sense of urgency that reflects the members’ deep roots in the scene. Across its three tracks, the EP serves as a powerful introduction to a band focused on writing songs with heart while pushing beyond genre expectations.
