Hawkwind’s “Doremi Fasol Latido” Album Gets Deluxe Reissue

Hawkwind‘s 1972 album, Doremi Fasol Latido, is getting reissued as a triple CD and double blue ray limited edition box set that features the original 1972 mix of the album that has been remastered from the original tapes along with stereo and 5.1 surround sound remixes by Stephen W Taylor. The box set also includes previously unreleased session outtakes, singles and promotional videos as well as 5.1 surround sound and stereo mixes of the band’s live performance at the Greasy Truckers Party in February 1972. The release also includes a lavishly illustrated book and reproduction poster.

Recorded at Rockfield and Olympic Studios in September and October 1972, the legendary album followed on the success of the band’s hit single Silver Machine and was their first to feature Lemmy (Motörhead) on bass & vocals and Simon King on drums. Featuring such classic tracks as Brainstorm, Space is Deep, Lord of Light, Down Through the Night and Time We Left This World Today. Doremi Fasol Latido will be released via Cherry Red Records on the 8th Novemmber and is now available for pre-order. Hawkwind will be also be back on tour next year on the There Is No Space For Us UK tour.
